Miyave - Professional Koto Player

From the age of four she learned how to play koto, Japanese traditional string instrument.
She performed at the Budokan and NHK Hall, and she became a master at the age of twenty.
After that, she participated in NY Carnegie Hall as a member of a performance group. Obtained the teacher’s license, parallel to her activity as a musician in lives and concerts, she plays and teaches as a volunteer at elementary schools and local facilities, contributing to the revitalization of Japanese culture.
She also experiments with other musical instruments and new forms of koto music productions using DTM.
