This act of writing in a grand and noticeable manner is called “Taisho.”
You can now experience this “Taisho Performance” at a popular Japanese culture experience café in Asakusa.
There are no restrictions on the characters you can write. Let your creativity flow and express it with a brush.
Even beginners can enjoy this activity with the guidance of the Japanese calligraphy artist, Koji Takano.
