Description
The author created this artwork on the occasion of “Children's Day” (「子供の日」“Kodomo no Hi” aka 「端午の節句」“Tango no Sekku”).It depicts some carp streamers, in Japanese 「鯉のぼり」“koinobori”, one of the most iconic symbols of this festivity. The colorful koi carps are an allegory of strength and determination.
In the center of this energic illustration is written the kanji 「翔」“tobu”, that means “soar”, “fly”.
Have the courage to overcome obstacles and “Climb high” to aim your goals.
